What is Doomsday NFT?

Doomsday NFT is the ultimate on-chain NFT survival game. Doomsday NFTs represent Bunkers hidden below cities around a world on the verge of an apocalypse.
As the apocalypse commences, space debris will barrage the earth annihilating Survivors until a solitaryBunker remains being rewarded with 85% (up from 50% in Season One) of all token sales.
Any surviving Bunker can be evacuated. The Bunker will be destroyed from the game upon evacuation but the owner will receive a portion of the prize pool. As more Bunkers are destroyed, this should raise the floor price for those that remain, as they’re essentially backed by a fraction of the prize.

The real-world location of Bunkers is stored on-chain, with random impacts being calculated every 255 blocks (approx. 4.5 mins) using a transparent, immutable on-chain method, each hit rendered on the tactical map. A reward of 0.6 MATIC is paid to anyone who confirms an impact that hits a Bunker.

After Season One, it was found that running on the Ethereum Mainnet affected the economics of game play for users. The decision to move to Polygon was an easy one for Season Two.

Survivors In Season Two

Season One was all about Bunkers and withstanding blasts, now Season Two comes with an added layer.

1,000 Unique Survivors

Players in Season Two are not only able to mint a Bunker, they can now mint an additional Survivor of their choosing. After minting one of the Survivors, players can inhabit a Bunker with their Survivor while not having to own the Bunker itself.
Whilst not having to own a Bunker, multiple players can inhabit a single Bunker but can not move to another Bunker once that game has started. A percentage of total Survivor sales (see tokenomics) will be awarded to the player/s inhabiting the last surviving Bunker.

Bunker Collectibles

In Season One of Doomsday, once a Bunker was destroyed by an impact players had to wait until the conclusion of the game to mint a collectible of their Bunker for free + gas.
With Doomsday 2 being on Polygon, the player will automatically receive a collectible of their Bunker into their wallet after destruction.

FAQS

How often will the impacts happen?
When the apocalypse begins, impacts will occur every 255 blocks (approx. 4-5 mins). The location and radius of these impacts is determined on-chain, using rolling, retroactive blockhashes as a source of randomness.

What will the prize be for the last Bunker/Survivor?
85% of all Bunker mints + 90% of all reinforcements will be tallied to establish the total prize. 55% of all Survivors will go toward theSurvivor prize pool.

Can I evacuate my Bunker?
Yes. Any surviving Bunker can be evacuated as long as it is not in a blast radius awaiting a hit confirmation. The Bunker will be destroyed but the owner will receive a portion of the prize pool. As more Bunkers are destroyed, this should raise the floor price for those that remain, as they’re essentially backed by a fraction of the prize.

Can I reinforce, evacuate or sell my Bunker/Survivor at the last second (before a hit is confirmed)?
Nope, if your Bunker is inside the blast radius, all actions with this Bunker are blocked until the hit is confirmed.

What happens when by Bunker is destroyed?
When your Bunker is destroyed your NFT will be burnt. However, you will automatically receive a collectible of your Bunker into your wallet.

How many times can I reinforce my Bunker?
As many as your MATIC wallet allows and if you’re not in a current blast radius awaiting confirmation.

How many NFTs will be available in the mint period?
38,611, one for every city in the world.

Can you move a Survivor to another Bunker during gameplay?
No. Players have to commit to a Bunker before the apocalypse starts.
